In 2008, Music Celebrations is proud to present the "Pre-Olympics Music Festival" in the cities of Beijing, Tianjin, and Qinhuangdao - official venue sites of the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics. The municipalities of Tianjin and Qinhuangdao are opening their doors exclusively for Music Celebrations to invite American music ensembles to be featured in their premier concert halls in performances leading up to the Opening Ceremonies in Beijing next August. From January to July, music groups will have the opportunity to be a part of this exclusive concert series music festival.

Tour Chaperone Meetings

Saturday, May 10 at 1:30 PM - Staff Room of the main building at John Gill School

Saturday, May 31 at 4 PM in the Skyline college Band Room (PYA Dress Reh. is from 5-6 PM)

Additional meetings will be held after the June 7 Rehearsal (7 PM) and before the June 14 Rehearsal (4 PM) at John Gill School.

Flight Info

We leave SFO on United Airlines flight UA 889 at 11:16 AM on June 17, 2008, arriving in Beijing on June 18 at 2:15 PM (remember, we cross the International Date Line)

We return from Beijing on United Airlines flight UA 888, leaving Beijing at 12:50 PM on June 26, and arriving in San Francisco at 8:47 AM that same day! (miraculous!)
