PYO Chamber Music

In addition to 4 large youth orchestras, PYO has an active Chamber Music program. The major ensembles are the Chamber Strings and the Debut Strings, directed by Sara Salsbury; the Chamber Flutes and Con Brio Flutes, led by Calisa Hildebrand; the PYO String Quartet, and the PYO Woodwind Quintet. There are also groups which form each year or half-year -- Woodwind trios, string quartets, and other combinations. Many of these groups perform at the PYO Chamber Music Recitals, which this season will be held on December 12, 2009 and May 15, 2010. The concerts are held at 2:00 PM in the Multi-use building at the John Gill School in Redwood City. Tickets are $5 at the door, or Free with your PYO Club Card.
