Although a different language is spoken here, Hungary was for centuries a part of the Habsburg Empire and the trappings and influence of the monarchy are still felt here. Wednesday, June 20 - Enjoy a full-day excursion to the Great Hungarian Plain (Puszta). Stop at Mansion House Gorebi, near Kecskemet, where we enjoy carriage rides, a riding show, and typical Hungarian goulash lunch with entertainment. Return to Budapest in the late afternoon.

Afternoon drive to Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic.
Check-in to Hotel Dorint Novotel Don Giovanni for dinner and accomodations.
Evening walk to see "Prague by night" (and in the rain!)

Prague is one of the most enchanting cities in Europe. It was under Charles IV during the 14th century that Prague briefly became the seat of the Holy Roman Empire -- virtually the capital of Western Europe -- and acquired it distinctive Gothic imprint. Prague escaped serious wartime damage and is considered one of the most beautiful cities in Europe today. Mozart claimed that no one understood him better than the citizens of Prague, and he was only one of several great masters who lived or lingered here.

Tuesday, June 26 - A morning guided tour of Prague includes the Charles Bridge, St. Nicholas Church, Old Town Square, Municipal House, and Hradcany Castle, including St. Vitus Cathedral and the Old Royal Palace.

8:00 PM Concert in Dvorak Hall.

Wednesday, June 27 - Guided tour of Terezín (former fortress and Nazi Concentration Camp).
Return to Prague in the late afternoon for additional sightseeing, excursions, shopping, or museum visits.
6:30 PM Dinner at a local restaurant - Zlatý Rožen

Thursday, June 28 - Enjoy a half-day tour of Musical Prague, including entrance to the Mozart and Dvorak Museums. The Dvorak Museum displays the life and works of the most famous of Czech composers, with his music ever-playing in the background.
Last chance to visit the sights of Old Prague.
Travel to Teplice in the afternoon.
7:00 PM Evening concert in the Philharmony Hall of Teplice

Friday, June 29 - VERY EARLY IN THE MORNING! Transfer to Prague's International Airport for the return flight to San Francisco.
